I was taking a break near the big elephant in the Natural History museum when these two stopped by and had a conversation that went something like this.
First, she said: The universe was mostly just hydrogen and helium when it first fired up. The heavy atoms, the stuff we’re made of, weren’t even around then.
And then he said: I’m hungry, do you want to get something to eat?
The first stars had to form and explode to create the materials that make life possible.
Do you feel like Chinese or barbeque, I feel like barbeque.
Each time a star explodes it throws all its stuff out into space where it travels to who knows where.
